Graham walked into the station carrying a mini tree and some lights for said tree and a shopping bag. He also had a Christmas gift for Emma in his jacket pocket, but he figured that would be best left with the tree at the apartment she shared with Mary Margaret or Snow White. Even though the curse was broken, it was going to take a while for him to call her Snow and call David Charming which they had vehemently demanded of him. Snow more so than Charming.

Emma looked over from her desk when she heard someone enter from the hall. She gave him a look. "The apartment's already decorated," she told him.

"I know," Graham replied. "But I think the station needs some decorating too. Besides Snow and Charming did most of the decorating at your apartment." He sat tree and the lights down and then walked to Emma. "We have something to celebrate this year."

"All I did was a break a curse," Emma replied. "Why didn't you tell me?"

She asked that question before, and he always evaded. This time though, he went for the simple truth. "You wouldn't have believed me," Graham told her. "Henry spent weeks trying to get you to believe, but I knew you wouldn't even after me and him telling you."

Emma sighed. "It took my son eating an apple turnover to get me to believe," she replied.

"Our son," Graham corrected. After proving to the courts that Regina wasn't a fit mother and should never have kids, Emma with Graham's, Snow's, Charming's, and countless other's help was able to retain back her rights because she was the biological mother.

Emma looked down at the tree and lights. "There's more to this, isn't there?" she asked him.

Graham grinned. "Caught me," he said. "We should set an example for the town."

"You mean me," Emma replied.

"Well, yes," Graham replied. "You are the savior and set an example."

"What kind of example?" Emma asked.

"The town needs to see you getting into the spirit, Emma," Graham replied. "You're very important part of this town. You brought it to life, and the townspeople love you. It's not just because you're deputy or Snow and Charming's daughter, but because of who you are inside. Let them see a side I know you're capable of."

"What side is this?" Emma asked quizzically.

Graham smiled knowing he's got her now. "Spirit," he said. "You have a lot of it. Let them see it."

Emma smiled back at him. "I guess you can set up the tree," she told him. "And we can set up the lights." She took a peek inside the shopping bag he brought. "What else did you buy?"

"Oh, you know, lights, garland, tinsel," he said as he brought out each. "And an ornament to celebrate our first Christmas."
